What is  FlashPlayer.pkg?

FlashPlayer.pkg is a Trojan, it pretends to be a legitimate Adobe Flash installer. 

This Trojan pretends to be a Adobe Flash installer. Once installed on your computer it will redirect your Google web searches to  bogus websites. This Trojan is capable of changing your hosts file. After it changes the hosts file whenever you perform a search using google you will be presented with legitimate results, but when you try to click on them you will see only pop-up windows.
